Lego Star Wars : Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter 8093

I'm excited that my girlfriend bought me a Lego Set for this year's birthday present.  Yay...  It's been a long time since I assembled one..  I believed it was like almost 6-8 years ago...  My girlfriend bought me Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter with the Lego Code 8093.

I'll go with the unboxing..

The box consist of 4 plastic sachet, one peel-able sticker and one guide book.  One particular disappointment in assembling this lego set is that Lego didn't print some details to the Lego Bricks anymore.  Instead they want us to apply stickers to parts of the Lego bricks.  I assume this is to cut production cost, but considering the price I became disappointed.  My last Lego set which came from around 1997 (It was the UFO 6975-1 Alien Avenger) have printed bricks in it.  One more thing is that when I tried to apply two adjacent stickers, I found out that there is some lapse between the adjacent stickers.  The line doesn't match between the two stickers. :( Also the the head of Plo Koon was made from rubber.  This is the first rubber headed minifigg I owned, and it looks pretty funny (not cool)...

Aside from those disappointment I'm very delighted to have the opportunity to assemble this set.  I enjoyed the nostalgic feeling I used to felt when I was a kid, and satisfied my wishes to have a Lego Light Saber.  I used to pretend the antenna of the Alien Avenger is a light saber :P (There were no Star Wars Lego set in those days - and yes, I'm a Star Wars fan :D ).

Here is the assembled set :
